This year SXSW runs from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 17. As always, it’s a frothy mix of celebrity spotting, live concerts, and behind-the-curtain glimpses into tech’s future. Twitter and Instagram Instagram’s Android app launched at SXSW. While Pinterest didn’t quite launch at SXSW, SXSW catapulted it into becoming a household name.
